Sydney’s The Preachers have just announced they will be embarking on their ambitious 66 Project, spending the next six months recording demos and releasing them for free.
Aiming to release a minimum of one song a month the band are also working with producers Tony Buchen and Basil Hodges on the projects along with other collaborators including director Oliver Heath, live music video company Closetakes and fashion designers from St Augustine Academy. With their debut EP available on their Bandcamp, as well as singles Young and Fictional Lover which you can grab for free, the band will be launching the first installment of The 66 Project in December, with the release of The Sleeping Serial.
One of the most hardworking bands in Sydney at the moment, The Preachers don’t look set to be rolling things back at all over the holidays, so be sure to keep an eye out, you can track their progress on the projects blog here.
