Last Friday was David Bowie’s birthday (he would have turned 74-years-old) and in celebration, his full catalogue has been uploaded to TikTok.
Bowie’s team also launched a TikTok account in his memory. @davidbowie shares snippets of his iconic clips and started #TheStarman challenge — where users create their favourite David Bowie looks.
On the new addition to the app, TikTok’s Head of UK Music Operations Paul Hourican says, “He remains one of the most influential and acclaimed artists of all time and his music has defined multiple generations and cultural moments.”
“We know the excitement our community will find discovering his music and creating using the indisputable Bowie sound.”
