Tinie Tempah, Chase and Status, Zane Lowe Australian Tour 2012 – Future Music Sideshows

Grime king Tinie Tempah and drum n bass and dubstep duo Chase and Status have announced Australian tour shows on the back of their appearance on the Future Music Festival 2012 line-up. Joining them on the tour will be BBC Radio 1 presenter Zane Lowe, performing his own DJ Set.

Excitement is growing for the return of Tinie Tempah, who is now performing with a full live band. His roots are set in London’s underground scene; the UK rap superstar hit the ground running with his monster anthem and debut single Wifey back in 2006. In the past few years he’s hit superstardom with his debut album Discovery.

Chase and Status, aka. Saul Milton and Will Kennard, have been crafting DnB and dubstep bombs since 2003, with an impressive track record: two stunning albums to their name (2009’s More Than A Lot and No More Idols); and an arsenal of tracks, which boasts the killer likes of Blind Faith, Pieces, and their new single Flashing lights.

Zane Lowe is legendary in the world of UK radio; there are few bigger stars on the airwaves than him. Presenting his own self-titled show on BBC Radio 1 four nights a week, Zane is a certified tastemaker whose reputation for breaking hot new acts, the next big single and stars of the future is second to none. A DJ in his own right, Zane’s mash, genre-defying sound has seen him play support roles the likes of Muse, Foo Fighters and The Prodigy at sold-out stadium gigs.
