Tool Anounce BDO Sideshows

With the nation’s alternative metal fans literally quivering in their black t-shirts and Doc Martens for their arrival in January fro Big Day Out, Tool have just announced that they will be playing two massive sideshows in Brisbane and Melbourne.

Notorious both for despising their fans (the name Tool and exercise in getting their fans to walk around with ‘tool’ emblazoned on their shirts) as well as creating deeply intricate rhythmic compositions wrapped in psychedelic imagery, Tool have built themselves one of the largest and most dedicated fans-bases on the planet. Their fans are so militant the fan club is called the The Tool Army.

Currently working on a new release the upcoming shows have been said to include vastly different staging and lighting, with the band hinting that they may have new material ready by the time they make it out to our shores.

With Sydney conspicuously missing from the announcement stay tuned for updates. In the meantime tickets for the Brisbane and Melbourne shows go on sale from 9am Monday, 8th November, details below
