Travis Barker Flies for First Time Since Deadly 2008 Plane Crash

Travis Barker, hero, has conquered his (very justifiable) fear of flying.

The Blink-182 beatman and serial Machine Gun Kelly collaborator has hopped on a plane for the very first time since the deadly 2008 crash that claimed the lives of four people, and very nearly his own.

The horrific incident understandably left the drummer traumatised. Not only did he lose his security guard and assistant in the wreckage, he himself had to undergo three months of rehabilitation in hospital after suffering third-degree burns to 65 per cent of his body.

But now, 13 years later, he’s taken to the skies once again.

Photos obtained by TMZ reportedly show the drummer boarding a private flight to Mexico with his girlfriend, Kourtney Kardashian, plus Kris Jenner and her boyfriend, Corey Gamble.

HUGE.

It comes after Travis recently flagged that he was planning to face his fear of flying.

Travis has not been able to tour Australia with Blink-182 since the tragic crash due to his understandable apprehension to get on a plane. But now that he’s made the initial steps, who knows?

Maybe we could have something to look forward to on the other side of this pandemic.

Until then, please enjoy Barker’s new MGK collab ‘Papercuts’ below.
