Triple J’s One Night Stand Announces 2018 Lineup

UPDATE: Triple J’s 2018 One Night Stand Location Announced

ORIGINAL STORY: After months of anticipation, triple j has finally announced the 2018 lineup for its free all-ages festival the One Night Stand, and it is tasty.

The acts taking things rural this year are triple j favourites Peking Duk, Vance Joy, Middle Kids, Alex The Astronaut and Tkay Maidza, as well as a yet-to-be-announced triple j Unearthed competition winner.

The 2018 edition of the festival is happening on Saturday, 1st September, and while the location is still to be announced this Thursday, 7th June, you can expect it to somewhere in regional Australia, like previous hosts Mount Isa, Geraldton, Mildura and Dubbo, just to name a few.

This year, like in previous years, towns could apply to show their interest in hosting the annual event, which means this year’s festival could happen almost anywhere across the country.

Last year’s One Night Stand lineup sported the likes of The Smith Street Band, San Cisco, Tash Sultana and Thundamentals, and took place in Mount Isa. Catch all of the most epic moments from the show right here.
