Triple J’s Dylan Alcott Announces First-Ever ‘Ability Fest’ With Flight Facilities, Kingswood & More

Triple j presenter and Paralympian Dylan Alcott has put together his very own music festival, dubbed Ability Fest, with the help from some of his favourite triple j acts.

Taking place at Melbourne’s Coburg Velodrome in April, the 18+ festival will celebrate inclusivity and people of all genders, disabilities and races, and will be headlined by a back-to-back DJ set from Flight Facilities and Client Liaison.

The lineup also features the likes of Kingswood, Tkay Maidza, Jack River, Boo Seeka, Japanese Wallpaper and Ninajirachi, and will also see a number of AUSLAN translators taking to the stage for all the mainstage acts.

There will be easy access for people of all abilities, as well as multiple viewing platforms for wheelchair users. Check out the full lineup down below.

All proceeds from the festival will go towards Alcott’s new Dylan Alcott Foundation, which aims to help kids with disabilities achieve their goals through scholarships, mentoring, grants and other programs.

All of the artists involved in Ability Fest have donated their time.
