Turnstile’s ‘Never Enough’ Film To Screen In Australia Tomorrow

Turnstile have announced two Australian screenings to premiere the accompanying film to their fourth studio album, Never Enough. They are set to take place tomorrow – Friday, June 6th – on Never Enough‘s global release day. Fans in Melbourne can see the film at Carlton’s Cinema Nova, while Sydneysiders can head to Paddington’s Palace Chauvel. The film screenings will take place at 5:30pm, with limited-edition merch and vinyl also available at the cinemas for purchase. Tickets are five dollars, and will also come with a digital download of Never Enough – which will count towards the album’s ARIA chart placement. Tickets can be purchased now via Maniacs Entertainment.

The Baltimore band originally announced Never Enough with a Sunset Boulevard billboard back in March, with the official rollout starting the following month. The album’s official announcement came on April 8th with the release of the album’s title track, with a further three singles released ahead of the album’s release: ‘Seeing Stars’, ‘Birds’ and ‘Look Out For Me’.

Turnstile: Never Enough (Trailer)

Turnstile: Never Enough was co-directed by band members Brendan Yates (lead vocals) and Pat McCrory (lead guitar). It has been described in press materials with this blurb: “Dreams in motion. Follow Baltimore hardcore rock band, Turnstile, as they search for meaning in the vastness between tranquility and chaos. Turnstile: Never Enough is a 14-song visual album, and a journey into the heart of their sound.”

The band were last in Australia in 2023, performing select dates of that year’s Laneway Festival as well as their own headlining shows with Sydney’s Speed. The shows came in support of the band’s breakthrough third album, 2021’s Glow On. Turnstile were announced as an exclusive artist on last year’s Splendour In The Grass line-up alongside the likes of Kylie Minogue and Fontaines D.C.; the festival was shockingly cancelled only a few weeks later, however, meaning the band did not return.
