Twilight At Taronga has announced its return for 2025, with a month-long concert series taking place at Taronga Zoo in the north of Sydney. It begins on Friday, February 7th with a performance from Sydney’s own DMA’s, and concludes on Saturday, March 8th with the Twilight At Taronga tradition of a performance from Australia’s premier ABBA tribute act, Bjorn Again. The full music program for 2025, as well as pre-sale and ticketing information, can be found below.
In a press statement, Taronga Zoo’s Leila Davis described the concert series as “more than just a magical night under the stars”. “It’s an opportunity to support Taronga’s critical conservation programs, and truly make a difference for Australia’s unique wildlife,” she said.
“As you gather with friends to enjoy breathtaking views of Sydney Harbour and the sounds of talented Australian artists, know that your ticket has the power to protect and directly contributes to the creation of Taronga’s new wildlife hospital. Together, we’re not only celebrating nature and culture, but also ensuring a brighter future for the incredible wildlife that call Taronga and this country home.”
DMA’s – ‘Silver’
Other acts on the bill for this year’s edition of Twilight At Taronga include Midnight Oil frontman Peter Garrett, the recently-reunited Cruel Sea, North Sydney natives Middle Kids and a double header of Baby Animals teaming up with longtime tourmates Killing Heidi. Aside from music, there will also be a children’s performance from veteran Play School presenter Justine Clarke and a stand-up comedy gala with sets from Joel Creasey, Nurse Georgie Carroll, Dave Thornton and Bron Lewis. Both of these non-music events will take place on Saturday, February 15th.
The concert series ran back in February, with performances from the likes of Ball Park Music, Meg Mac, The Waifs, and The Cat Empire, amongst others.
