The lineup for the American leg of this year’s Vans Warped Tour has been unveiled overnight – and it’s fair to say we can now start speculating whether some of these bands will make it to Australia when the tour comes our way in December.
SPIN Magazine has described this year’s lineup as “one of the most diverse in the nomadic festival’s history, with artists representing genres from punk and power pop to EDM, heavy metal and hip-hop.”
And they’re pretty spot on, with the likes of Hawthorn Heights, Motion City Soundtrack, The Used, Goldfinger, Bowling For Soup, Reel Big Fish, Billy Talent and 3OH!3 leading the pack. Local acts The Amity Affliction and Tonight Alive will also no doubt have the time of their lives flying the Australian flag on the tour.
The tour will take in a whopping 39 stops around America, beginning on 15th June in Seattle and winding up in Houston on 4th August.
