Rapper and potential future president of the United States of America, Waka Flocka Flame, has been forced to cancel his upcoming Australian tour dates, after the Department of Immigration and Border Protection denied him entry.
The reality TV star-turned-presidential candidate was scheduled to perform four shows Down Under and two across the ditch this month, but promoter Robin Fernando has announced that they will no longer be going ahead as planned, after Flocka’s VISA was rejected “due to his recent arrest(s) on both firearms and drug charges”.
“While a VISA into New Zealand had been approved, the Australian situation means that Waka Flocka’s tour to this part of the world will no longer take place at this time, and will be rescheduled for later in the year,” the promoter said in an official statement via Facebook.
“All ticket holders will be contacted for an immediate refund by Non Stop Tix, and will receive prior notification of Waka Flocka’s new tour dates and guaranteed presale tickets for the new shows.”
