Watch Architects Deliver A Rare Cover Of Nirvana’s ‘Territorial Pissings’

British band Architects have covered Nirvana‘s ‘Territorial Pissings’ in a rare cover for them.

They took it on for Radio 1 Rocks live at Maida Vale, admitting prior to the performance that covers aren’t really a regular occurrence for the band.

“We never really do covers,” said frontman Sam Carter.

“It feels very cool that we’re doing one today, and it’s fun, right? I’m sure most people in this room have heard of the band called Nirvana.”

‘Territorial Pissings’ is off Nirvana’s classic 1991 record Nevermind and Architects gave it a raucous performance that stuck closely to the melody of the original.

Architects will be in the country next year for UNIFY Gathering and a one-off sideshow. They have also begun working on their next album which will be the first since the passing of guitarist Tom Searle.
