Watch Chet Faker, Peking Duk & Aussies In Antarctica Celebrate The Hottest 100

Giant slip and slides, climbing roofs in morphsuits, synchronised shots and pier diving – that’s a taste of the antics you guys got up to this past Hottest 100 weekend according to a new clip released by triple j, which also shows how the countdown’s big winners Chet Faker and Peking Duk celebrated their success.

Hottest 100 winner Chet Faker wasn’t in the country at the time Talk Is Cheap was given first place, but that didn’t subdue his “big dumb smile” upon hearing the news. He also made sure to thank the Illuminati. Peking Duk couldn’t contain their glee, or language, either.

According to triple j, 3848 Hottest 100 parties were registered worldwide this year, with the video below showing footage from parties in Sydney, Brisbane, WA township Lenora and even events in Canada, Peru and Antarctica.

Over 2 million votes were cast in the Hottest 100 of 2014 which resulted in the highest number of Australian entries in the countdown’s history. Still, not all the songs that should have made the cut, actually did.
