Watch Dave Grohl Deliver His Best KISS Impression With Goofy ‘Rock And Roll All Nite’ Cover

Dave Grohl has used the final instalment of his 2021 Hanukkah Sessions covers series to pay homage to his childhood heroes, KISS.

The Foo Fighters frontman closed out the eight-part series on a (literal) high note with a rendition of the Painted Ones’ timeless party rock anthem ‘Rock & Roll All Night’.

Once again teaming up with his partner in crime, producer Greg Kurstin, Grohl donned the iconic KISS face paint for a lovingly goofy music video, which sees the pair carry out household chores and run errands in between performance takes.

In a statement on social media, the mates wrote: “Ladies and gentlemen….we made it. Night eight! And what better way to celebrate another year of Hanukkah Sessions than Chaim Witz and Stanley Eisen….two young lads from Queens that set the world (and thousands of stages) on FIRE as Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley of KISS!!!”

Grohl, of course, famously had a poster of KISS on his bedroom wall as a child.

The vid follows a string of other covers in honour of the pair’s second annual Hanukkah Sessions outing, including a heavy metal version of Lisa Loeb’s ‘Stay (I Missed You)’ and Van Halen’s ‘Jump’.
