Watch: Dizzee Rascal’s New Olympic Song ‘Scream’

First there was Muse and their official theme song for the Olympics, Survival, a song that deeply divided the music community. Now English rapper Dizzee Rascal has released his Olympic effort with a song titled Scream.

According to NME, Dizee will soundtrack the London 2012 Games along with fellow artists, The Chemical Brothers, Delphic, Elton John and Pnau, and the aforementioned Muse.

Scream features Dizzee’s protége Pepper, who sings the chorus, while the video sees Dizee hanging out with high profile names such as Jay-Z and GSP (George St Pierre from UFC) and is spliced with plenty of footage of Sly Stallone punching meat, lifting weights and running up stairs, all from from the Rocky Series.

The clip also contains footage of Dizzee with the Olympic torch, which Dizzee helped to reach its final destination as part of the torch relay, before playing a special gig along with The Wanted and Rizzle in Hype Park to mark the Olympic Torch Relay Finale.
