Relationships don’t come much more “up and down” than Kermit The Frog and Miss Piggy’s on-again off-again love affair, which has lasted for years.
In his latest attempt to win his muse’s heart, Kermit has enlisted the romantic prowess of Jack White. The nashville rocker will appear on the season finale of Up Late Miss Piggy tonight to serenade the beauteous babe in a cover of Stevie Wonder’s You Are The Sunshine Of My Life.
He will be joined by Kermit’s Muppets pals who are as keen as White is to help their old friend win back Miss Piggy’s heart once and for all.
If that doesn’t work, we don’t know what will.
The episode will also include a carpool karaoke segment where White and Kermit duet on The White Stripes’ Fell In Love With A Girl.
The full episode airs tonight on ABC in America. White’s cover of You Are The Sunshine Of My Life can be streamed on Apple Music and will be released on vinyl through White’s own label Third Man Records.
