Watch Justin Vernon Of Bon Iver Lay Down A Killer Techno Set

Bon Iver‘s Justin Vernon took to the stage at Berlin’s Michelberger Music Festival yesterday, but he wasn’t performing with his indie-folk act – instead laying down an unbelievable techno set.

At the two-day music and visual arts event, which Vernon himself organised with Aaron and Bryce Dessner from The National – he was joined on stage by members of the Teenage Engineering team and UK rapper Trim Tali to surprise fans with a live set full of house and techno music.

Vernon had his favourite toy on hand, the OP-1 portable synth, which he used extensively on Bon Iver’s recently released third album 22, A Million.
