Watch Kendrick Lamar Debut New Song ‘Money Over Love’

The ever prolific Kendrick Lamar made a surprise appearance at a Los Angeles gig this weekend and despite already having a tonne of tracks from his critically acclaimed new album to spruik, took the opportunity to debut a band new song, Money Over Love.

Per Rolling Stone, the song is a collaboration between producer Adrian Younge, Lamar and his To Pimp a Butterfly collaborator Bilal and the trio debuted the song live at Younge’s concert in Los Angeles this weekend. You can check out shakey fan-shot footage of the collaboration below.

While little is currently know about the new track, it is believed the song may appear on Bilal’s upcoming, Adrian Younge-featuring album In Another Life, which Bilal has previously said will be released in June. So new Kendrick on the way soon, guys.

It’s been an eventful few weeks for Lamar in his hometown of Los Angeles, where last week he was

honoured with a Generational Icon Award by the California State Senate. He’s also riding high from releasing his latest record To Pimp A Butterfly, oh and just causally dropping two new verses on Taylor Swift’s 1989 hit Bad Blood AND starring in its ridiculous music video.
