Mastodon are currently touring the US with Eagles of Death metal and Russian Circles, but aside from the killer lineup fans were treated to a seriously special moment at the band’s show in Birmingham.
Guitarist for the heavy rockers Brent Hinds had invited his whole family to the show, and took the opportunity to address the crowd; “Hey, you guys want to see the coolest encore ever in your whole life?”
Hinds then shocked fans and his girlfriend Raisa by dropping to one knee and proposing.

It was only one of a few incredible moment at the show, with Hinds also inviting his Grandma out on stage for a boogie.
