Watch Metallica Cover Oasis’ ‘Don’t Look Back In Anger’ In Manchester

Metallica unleashed a surprise cover of Oasis‘ singalong hit ‘Don’t Look Back In Anger’ in Manchester on Saturday night — a song which has become an unofficial anthem for the city since the terror attack at Ariana Grande’s Manchester Arena concert earlier this year.

Halfway through their recent set at the same venue, Metallica guitarist Kirk Hammett and bassist Rob Trujillo took centre stage for a few solos, which included a singalong of ‘Don’t Look Back In Anger’.

Drummer Lars Ulrich later shared video of the Oasis cover, saying on Twitter, “What a moment!! Goosebumps.” Watch the footage, below.

Metallica were previously rumoured to be bringing their WorldWired Tour to Australia in 2017, but it’s now been claimed that the tour will happen in 2018.
