One of the countless points of praise being heaped upon Netflix’s new ’80-inspired sci-fi series Stranger Things is just how insanely talented its child actors are, and it seems that many of their talents aren’t just limited to acting.
Case in point: Finn Wolfhard, who stars as Mike Wheeler in the show, has just uploaded a clip of himself performing an unplugged guitar cover of Nirvana‘s classic track Lithium.
And while the 13-year-old’s rendition may not be as mind-blowing as the show he stars in, it’s still a lot better than what 99 per cent of us mouthbreathers could do at that age.
Besides, with a name like Finn Wolfhard, how could you not at least try your hand at becoming a rock star?
Meanwhile, Finn isn’t the only kid actor from Stranger Things to be dabbling in music. It turns out Joe Keery, who plays Steve Harrington, is in quite a good psych-rock band which sounds a whole lot like early Tame Impala.
Another star of the series, psychokinetic mystery child Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) also has an apparent musical streak. The actress has been sharing her vocal talents on YouTube, uploading cover versions of songs from John Lennon to Amy Winehouse.
Watch her and Finn cranking it to ~eleven~ in the clips below.
