We’re living in a simulation. I’m convinced. There is absolutely no way any of this stuff is real.
But, in the rarity that this is in fact real, Neil & Liam Finn played a show in Los Angeles last night, with a band that was packed to the rafters in stars – namely Mac Demarco, Connan Mockasin, Kirin J. Callinan and Natalie Mering of Weyes Blood. And, for whatever reason, Mike Myers.
Consequence of Sound reports that Myers, 54, took to the stage in character as the iconic shaggadelic spy Austin Powers to perform the track ‘BBC’ from Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery. Just when you thought you’d never see a newfound member of Fleetwood Mac and Austin Powers on the same stage, this happens. None of us are safe.
Peep some clips of the performance posted on Instagram below. Myers, never one to half-ass anything, completely commits to the character and to the performance and it’s honestly pretty enjoyable.
Neil & Liam Finn were in Australia back in February, for the Melbourne Zoo Twilights concert series.
