Watch Miley Cyrus Deliver A Stunning Mazzy Star Cover For NPR Tiny Desk Concert

Miley Cyrus is the latest guest on NPR’s Tiny Desk Concert At Home series and she’s brought the goods. Performing from a tiny, pre-teen oasis of a bedroom, the Plastic Hearts artist opens with a special Mazzy Star cover.

Miley Cyrus serves looks in a faux fur jacket, wide-brimmed hat, and shades — establishing the vibe for the performance. Covering ‘Fade Into You’, she belts out the 1993 hit with her signature Miley soaring grit.

It marks her first cover of 2021, backing up her impressive track record from 2020. Miley Cyrus delivered so many stellar covers last year we collated them all here for your convenience.

We were blessed with renditions of ‘Golden G-String’ and ‘Prisoner’ as well. ‘Prisoner’ sees Cyrus leave her tiny bedroom and join the band on-stage to send the performance off.

Originally a huge pop collab with Dua Lipa, Cyrus changes the song up, creating more of a ballad. It’s an absolute treat.

Miley Cyrus’ Plastic Hearts was released in November last year.

We still have a Metallica cover album incoming from Miley. And in even bigger news, she’s revealed the likes of Elton John and Red Hot Chili Peppers’ Chad Smith feature on the album.
