Watch Miley Cyrus Team Up With The Kid Laroi For ‘WITHOUT YOU’ Performance On SNL

Blessing the SNL studio yet again, Miley Cyrus appeared as a musical guest last night. She took Aussie export, The Kid Laroi along with her to deliver a stripped-back version of their collaborative remix effort, ‘WITHOUT YOU’.

The pair’s incredibly raw set has fun singalongs, grooving, and is filled to the brim with wholesome energy.

Miley Cyrus also delivers ‘Plastic Hearts’ taken from her 2020 album of the same name. It’s a stellar performance, as is Cyrus’ choice of dress.

To open the episode, Cyrus covers Dolly Parton’s ‘Light of a Clear Blue Morning’. It opens the ‘Mother’s Day Message” where members of the cast appear with their Mums while Cyrus soundtracks their introductions.

Closing off the segment, Cyrus says, “Happy Mother’s Day to my godmother, Dolly Parton and to my Mum, Tish.”

The episode was hosted by Elon Musk, to a lot of people’s disappointment after Twitter had largely called for Cyrus to just double duty it.

Musk revealed he has Asperger’s syndrome in his opening monologue.

“It’s an honour to be hosting Saturday Night Live. I mean that,” he clarifies in his monologue. “Sometimes after I say something, I have to say I mean that.”

“I don’t always have a lot of intonational variation in how I speak, which I’m told makes for great comedy.

“I’m actually making history tonight as the first person with Asperger’s to host SNL.”

“Or, at least the first person to admit it,” he adds.

Viewers were quick to point out this isn’t true. Dan Akroyd hosted the show in 2003, and had been diagnosed with Asperger’s syndrome in the early ’80s.
