The first official sounds of Neil Young & Crazy Horse’s soon-to-be-released new record Americana has been revealed in the form of a Stephen Foster’s cover Oh Susannah.
The first song from Neil Young & Crazy Horse since 2003′s Greendale, the cover is raw and grimy with some sweet backing vocals to accompany Young’s distinctive voice.
As Music Feeds previously reported, Americana was produced by Young and John Hanlon with Mark Humphreys at Audio Casa Blanca.
When speculation arose over whether or not a record of new material was actually in the works by Neil Young & Crazy Horse, an epic 34-minute studio jamming session posted online by the band quickly had fans anticipating the release of Americana.
