While promoting his new mediation album Sleeping Tapes, actor Jeff Bridges appeared on Conan O’Brien’s late night talk show this week and stuck around to wake up the audience with a full on jam session with O’Brien and special guest Slash.
Following an “epic omming session” with the audience, Bridges and O’Brien both grabbed some acoustic guitars and began to play Somebody Else, a track from the Crazy Heart movie soundtrack, only to be joined by Slash for a not at all sleep-inducing, jam session.
Reports Rolling Stone, Somebody Else was written by Bridges’ co-producers on the Crazy Heart soundtrack, T Bone Burnett and the late Stephen Bruton. It’s the first song that Bridges’ character Bad Blake sings in the film.
Slash featuring Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators also performed their original track Bent To Fly on the show. Watch both performances below.
Slash featuring Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators will be in Australia soon as a part of Soundwave Festival 2015 and will play two additional Sidewaves alongside glam metal act Steel Panther.
