Just hours after covering The Smith Street Band‘s anti-misogyny pub anthem ‘Death To The Lads’ for triple J’s Like A Version yesterday, Tired Lion busted it out again during their set at the radio station’s free all-ages concert Live At The Steps.
Only this time, they weren’t alone.
The Perth indie rockers had their set last night crashed by Smith Street’s Wil Wagner himself to double-team guitars and vocals on the tune.
And Wil wasn’t the only set-crasher. According to the Js, Bec Sandridge, Ruby Fields, and Jack River joined Tired Lion for an all-in cover of No Doubt’s ‘Just A Girl’.
