Watch The Star Wars: Force Awakens Cast Perform The Theme Completely A Cappella

Star Wars fandom has reached fever pitch with the new Force Awakens film hitting cinemas at midnight last night and the cast are only swelling the pandemonium, coming together for an a cappella version of the iconic theme song.

Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Adam Driver and more came together on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, performing the song a cappella, Brady Bunch-style with a little help from house band, The Roots.

While their singing capabilities are limited, Chewbaca, R2D2 and C3PO all join in on the fun looking a little confused but content nonetheless.

It’s not the first time Fallon has pulled together an a cappella like this. He recruited Sam Smith, Ariana Grande and Usher for an a cappella version of We Are The Champions earlier in the year and has also done We Can’t Stop with Miley Cyrus.

The Star Wars theme is the first song without words to be recreated a cappella which poses a slight challenge but they seem to do just fine.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens is out in cinemas right now 10 years after the last Stars Wars film, Revenge of the Sith.
