Jake Hardy, guitarist in Sydney rock outfit Tonight Alive, has shaved off his luscious and super-long locks for the the Leukaemia Foundation’s World’s Greatest Shave, with help from the band’s frontwoman, Jenna McDougall.
Video of Hardy’s big haircut has been posted to the Tonight Alive Facebook page, and is available to view below. The big snip was part of Hardy’s goal to raise $10,000 dollars for the Leukaemia Foundation, and he’s already raised almost $4,000 at the time of writing.
“If I reach my goal I’ll wax my chest as well,” Hardy has said. “Help me raise money for a good cause and get a much needed haircut at the same time.”
Hardy’s hair has been donated to the Wigs For Kids organisation. To contribute to his fundraising efforts, head to the Leukaemia Foundation website.
