Watch Vince Staples’ NPR Tiny Desk Home Concert

Vince Staples released his new, self-titled album a couple of weeks ago. Now, he’s performed a portion of it as part of NPR’s Tiny Desk Concert At Home series and the new tracks SLAP.

The ‘At Home’ part of the Tiny Desk series is being taken pretty creatively as the United States slowly opens up.

So, Staples performed from an aesthetic AF spot in the Hollywood Hills. “You should see this view – I don’t live here,” he clarified. “I would never live here.”

He performs four tracks in his set. All four are taken from Vince Staples, his latest album. Staples opens with the album’s lead single ‘LAW OF AVERAGES’.

He then takes us through ‘SUNDOWN TOWN’ and ‘THE SHINING’, before bringing Fousheé in for their collaborative single ‘TAKE ME HOME’.

The whole performance is supported by a band. Staples took a drummer, keyboard player, guitarist, and bass guitarist along.

Watch the performance below.
