American singer-songwriter Katie Crutchfield, aka Waxahatchee, is set to return to Australia in February 2016 for a pair of headline shows in Sydney and Melbourne, backed by her five-piece live band who will be making their Aussie debut.
Crutchfield was down under in July this year for her first ever Australian shows, playing intimate solo dates in support of her third album Ivy Tripp. Next time around, Crutchfield and her band will no doubt take things to a louder and even fuzzier level.
When she was last in Australia, Crutchfield sat down with Music Feeds to chat about why Ivy Tripp is a “gassy” album, and the importance of home. She even played an acoustic version of Ivy Tripp‘s La Loose exclusively for Music Feeds, which you can warm yourself up with, below.
