The term “community service” brings to mind images of orange jumpsuited figures — often disgraced celebrities — wielding litter pickers on the side of a highway. But as is most often the case, Kanye West does things a little differently, and is working off his hours as a fashion lecturer.

For those of you who may not remember, West was sentenced to two years probation for attacking a paparazzo outside of LAX last year. As part of his plea bargain, the rapper was sentenced to perform 250 hours of community service, which he’s reportedly been doing for the last six weeks.

As TMZ reports, Yeezy attended LA Trade Technical College on Monday for his third visit to the institution in over a month. The rapper is said to have been speaking at colleges across the US, delivering seminar speeches to designers that have reportedly lasted up to three hours each.

It’s not known just how many hours Yeezy has left to serve the community, but we can’t imagine it’s been a struggle for him thus far. Given his predilection for long-winded rants and diatribes, many of which have been aimed at the fashion industry, this is like sentencing a fish to keep swimming.

West’s sentence has apparently not gotten in the way of flying to New York to make a surprise appearance during the first show of Dave Chappelle‘s nine-evening residency at the famed Radio City Music Hall, or throwing his daughter North West her own mini-music festival dubbed Kidchella.
