Whipped Cream Chargers announce single launch May 26th

That’s right Sydney’s own prodigal sons of post-coital swing punk, Whipped Cream Chargers are back and are finally releasing something, this something taking the form of their debut single, Rasputin. A dirty song, rife with sexual innuendo so depraved and debauched I dare not even begin to unravel it, Rasputin will be the first taste fans get of the band’s forthcoming debut album Whip It Out, due for release in spring through Chocolate Jesus.

The band will be offering everyone who attends a free download of the song as part of the ticket price, along with some other special tidbits on offer as well from the wonderful folks at Chocolate Jesus that I’m not yet at liberty to disclose.

Joining the Whippy Cs on the night will be veteran local swamp merchants Psychonanny & The Baby Shakers, as well as raucous garage three piece Dead Farmers, Trent Marden from The Holy Soul in solo mode and Beautiful, the latest project from Circle Pit‘s Jack Mannix, as well as some great local DJ talent.
