Willow Beats have returned to charm us once again with their new single Merewif, the first cut to be taken from their forthcoming EP. The single goes on sale digitally this Friday, 27th June via Pilerats Records and will be celebrated with a five-date tour that kicks off this August at Mondo in Perth.
This NSW duo are coming off a massive 2013 that was kickstarted by the release of their acclaimed Alchemy EP. The pair’s new single is a return to what first endeared them to fans, with Kalyani Mumtaz‘s honeyed vocals wrapping themselves around Narayana Johnson’s crisp electronica.
They’ll be showing off the chops that saw them nab coveted spots at Hong Kong’s Clockenflap Festival and Australia’s famed Falls Festival during their August tour, which will hit up venues in Perth, Brisbane, Sydney, Adelaide, and Melbourne. Tickets hit sale this Thursday, 26th June.
