As part of this year’s ARIA Week celebrations, Sony Music and yours truly have teamed up to present an ARIA showcase which will celebrate the discovery and development of our great nation’s rising talent.
Taking place on November 24th at Sydney’s Beresford Hotel, the Sony ARIA showcase will feature performances from Sydney indie outfit and buzz band Gang Of Youths, who are gearing up for the release of their anticipated debut album.
Also on the bill are Brisbane indie act Holy Holy, made up of award winning singer songwriter Timothy Carroll and guitarist composer Oscar Dawson, who will also release their debut LP in 2015, following this year’s The Pacific EP.
Sydney hip hop duo Jackie Onassis will also play. They’re fresh off their massive tour as part of hip hop collective One Day, who are responsible for one of 2014’s biggest hip hop albums Mainline.
Rounding out the showcase lineup is Sydney pop-rock band Little Sea. Having recently supported fellow Australian breakouts 5 Seconds Of Summer, Little Sea released their debut EP Wake The Sun which peaked at number one on the iTunes chart.
Tickets for this showcase are not being sold to the public, but we here at Music Feeds have 20 special double passes to give away to deserving fans of local music. For your chance to win, send your full name, date of birth, contact phone number and postal address to giveaways@musicfeeds.com.au with the subject line, “ARIA Showcase Giveaway”, along with the answer to this question:
