The xx Are Donating Proceeds From Their Aussie Tour To The Local LGBTQI+ Community

Good guys The xx are throwing Australia’s LGBTQI+ community a much needed bone in a time that seems to be filled with nothing but bigoted bone-heads.

They’ve announced plans to raise funds for Aussie LGBTQI+ charities using money raised from their forthcoming down under tour.

The amazing trio will be donating $1 from each ticket sold to Plus 1 — an initiative that works with acts like Tegan and Sara and St Vincent to raise money for causes that artists are passionate about — who’ll hand the funds out to Aussie charities #legends.

ICYMI: the group will be returning from their triumphant performance at Splendour In The Grass for a run of headlining shows with Kelela and Earl Sweatshirt in January of 2018.

It comes after they dropped their recent single ‘Say Something Loving’, the video of which celebrated same-sex relationships.
