Swedish guitar hero Yngwie J. Malmsteen has announced he’ll be bringing his blazing axe skills to our shores for the first time in decade for an Australia-wide tour in 2015. Malsteem will show-off his neo-classical style of heavy metal in most major Australian cities, as well as a one-off show in Auckland.
The US-based Malmsteen has over 35 years experience in lighting up the fretboard, with the Grammy-nominated guitarist admired equally for his speed and precision. Malmsteem is hailed as a pioneer of guitar shredding and a noted influence on modern guitarists.
Malmsteem’s Australian tour gets underway on Friday, 6th February 2015 at The Metro in Sydney. VIP tickets are also available giving fans access to an exclusive Q&A session with the “Master of the Stratocaster” and, for a lucky few, the chance to meet Malmsteen.
