The scented candle: it’s a gift fave, a genius side table piece, and recently, a band merch must. Drake has joined the trend, starting his own line of scented candles, including a special Drake-scented one.
The candle will set you back about $80 and REVOLVE, the company he teamed up with on the candle’s design, reckons it smells of a, “smooth musk fragrance.”
“[It] is introspective as in an interpretation of your beautiful self, yet extrovertive as how you would want others to see your bold and brilliant self,” the company said.
They’ve called the candle Carby Musk, which sounds eerily like what a carbonara candle would be called. It’s said to have, “notes of Musk, Ambers, Cashmere, Suede, and Velvet. Actually smells like Drake – it’s the personal fragrance he wears.”
REVOLVE also reckon Drake encourages fans to listen to Midnite’s Live In Eugene album when they light the candle. It’s the album that inspired the project.
Drake joins the likes of Motorhead, who recently released a Lemmy Kilmister-scented candle.
Drake is apparently gearing up to release an album in 2021. Certified Lover Boy will follow up Scorpion in January of next year.
