Queenscliff Music Festival Unveils First Lineup Announcement

The 20th anniversary of Queenscliff Music Festival will go down this November on the Ballarine Peninsula in Victoria.

Following the announcement yesterday that Ben Harper & The Innocent Criminals would be headlining the event, Queenscliff Music Festival has revealed remaining names on the incredible first lineup announcement.

Paul Kelly will return to QMF for the first time since 2007 alongside Charlie Owen in an exciting new collaborative effort, while Peter Garrett & The Alter Egos will make a special appearance playing music from Garrett‘s forthcoming new solo album.

These legends of Australian rock will be joined by a host of acts appealing to younger audiences too, with Melbourne pop outfit Alpine set to appear, as well as Aussie hip-hop royalty Urthboy, who will be joined by Bertie Blackman and Kira Puru during his set. Other acts set to feature include Ash Grunwalk, Abbe May, Nattali Rize and Kylie Auldist – with four more lineup announcements still to come.

“Turning 20 is a major milestone and we’re really excited about the festival this November,” said festival director Andrew Orvis in a statement. “We’ve assembled a fantastic program to celebrate the occasion. This is a 20th anniversary party you don’t want to miss!”

Early bird tickets are on sale now until July 1st – while children under 13 enter for free. For full ticketing details see below.

UPDATE: Just when you thought the 20th Birthday celebration had reached it’s limits, a further line up announcement has dropped adding even more international flavour to the mix.
