Frank Ocean has unveiled a new track through his Tumblr page called Sweet Life.
The track was co-written with N*E*R*D’s Pharrell Williams and has been described by Complex as “an aptly titled, smooth R&B joint.”
Ocean has a new record Channel Orange coming out soon, which, according to Billboard, will be out on July 17 on Def Jam Records. It’s the follow-up to his much-lauded mixtape Nostalgia Ultra and features guest appearances by Andre 3000, Earl Sweatshirt and John Mayer.
Recently, Ocean made headlines and earned the respect of his music pals after coming out and revealing his first lover was a man.
Ocean will be making his network TV debut with a performance on ‘Late Night with Jimmy Fallon’ on Monday night in the US. Although it’s unknown what song Ocean will perform, he’ll be backed by Fallon’s house band, The Roots.
