Melburnian post-hardcore champions The Getaway Plan have announced the cancellation of the first two weeks of their upcoming ‘Mirrors’ tour, in which they were set to tour through Victoria, playing such rooms as St Kilda’s famous Espy. The band cited “internal factors” as the cause.
“Due to some internal factors within the band we have had to cancel the first two weeks of the ‘Mirrors’ tour,” the band open, in a missive posted to their official Facebook page. “We will now start the tour on Thursday the 23rd on January in Sydney @ Carmen’s Miranda,” they continue.
“We are sorry for any inconvenience caused to our Victorian fans. We will endeavour to make up these dates once the album is written,” they add. According to the post, all tickets purchased will be automatically refunded––hard tickets refunded at place of purchase. The supports for their planned show at The Espy — Wendy Icon, Oh Pacific, Darcee Fox — will still play with entry now free.
