Will Ferrell has turned up to the Conan O’Brien show as Ron Burgundy to announce the sequel to Anchorman; watch below. The 2004 film made $28.4 million in its opening weekend and grossed $90,574,188 worldwide, becoming a cult classic amongst comedy fans. It put Will Ferrell on the map in Hollywood.

Burgundy told the audience and TV viewers:

I actually have an announcement. I want to announce this here to everyone in the Americas. To our friends in Spain, Turkey and the UK, including England, that as of 0900 mountain time, Paramount Pictures and myself, Ronald Joseph Aaron Burgundy, have come to terms on a sequel to Anchorman.
