One of the most prominent figures of the UK electronic/hip hop scene, Example has gone gangbusters over the last few years off the back of numerous albums and several mega successful singles. Now the one-man army is gearing up to do it all over again with a brand-new album, set to drop 2014, so Music Feeds caught up with the man to get the goss.
When we catch Example (government name Elliot Gleave), he’s in London spending the week adding all the final touches to the record, and writing 2 or 3 more tracks to pad out the bonus material that fans fiend after these days.
The record (the name of which is yet to be revealed) will have no rapping whatsoever but be a totally electronic record aimed to be cranked at festivals and house parties, and Gleave talks us through how he pieced together the tracks and where he was looking for influence.
