PREMIERE: N’Fa Jones & Cool Out Sun Unveil Sunlit Visuals For ‘Time For Love (Tempo De Amor)’

Australian hip hop staple N’Fa Jones, of 1200 Techniques, is back with another fresh cut from his new project Cool Out Sun, unveiling the visuals for the outfit’s latest release ‘Time For Love (Tempo De Amor)’.

The clip begins with a cameo from Billy Hoyle, a fellow artist on Melbourne independent label House Of Beige, and goes on to celebrate creative independence as Jones waxes lyrical about disregarding conformity and embracing freedom, set against the warm sunlight of a Melbourne morning.

“The original Os Afro Sambas LP by Baden Powell and Vinicius De Moraes is an absolute masterpiece. The way Billy Hoyle reworked it into his style of instrumentals is pretty damn genius,” N’Fa Jones tells Music Feeds.

“I simply tried to write respectfully to the feeling of the music, while discussing and questioning some of that which gets in the way of having time for love. Escaping reality, existing in the non-existence of absolute conformity, and accepting control. Love, to me, is freedom, and the fight for freedom, whether it be an internal or external struggle. Freedom is love, and love is freedom. We all need time for that.”

With a full LP in the works for release later this year, Cool Out Sun is a creative series of work involving House Of Beige artists and other guests. Bask in the warmth of ‘Time For Love’ here below.
