Tyler, The Creator Recruits 15-Year-Old Aussie Ruel For Camp Flog Gnaw Festival

Singer-songwriter Ruel has just made history, being announced as an act on Tyler, the Creator‘s legendary ‘Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival’ festival.

15-year-old Ruel is the first ever male Australian solo artist to be featured on the bill, following the footsteps of fellow Aussie electronic legend, Alison Wonderland,  playing last year.

This lineup is no joke, either. Tyler, the Creator will be performing, but so will Kanye West, Kid Cudi, Post Malone, BROCKHAMPTON, and the great Ms. Lauryn Hill will be performing a special set celebrating the 20th anniversary of her iconic and game-changing album The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill.

Ruel released a statement on how much this festival spot means to him on Facebook.

“Tyler has been one of my favourite artists since i started wanting to become my own,” he said.

“Not saying i’m a die hard, og fan but he has influenced me so much and not just with music. so, to be playing his festival is a dream come true. holy father charles i’m so excited.”

If you can’t make it to this dream festival, Ruel is about to embark on a national tour in September, supporting his new Ready EP.
