Baby Animals Announce ‘Feed The Birds’ Australian Tour, October 2013

Written by Mike Hohnen on July 8, 2013

Cruising high atop their successful return to the Australian music scene, Baby Animals have now announced they will be heading out for a string of national dates on their Feed The Birds tour. These won’t just be any old shows, either, as the band will be filming the shenanigans to compile footage for their first-ever live DVD, to be released later this year.

The tour follows on from a brief run of East Coast dates which themselves followed on from the release of their first studio album in 20 years This Is Not The End. The record packed just as much fury as their 1991 breakthrough single Early Warning and, just as you’d expect from a band such as Baby Animals, they still promise the same rockin’, pouring-red-wine-into-the-mouths-of-fans type of live show they are renowned for – hence the name of the tour.

Baby Animals have seen heights few of their peers ever did, with chart-topping albums, radio-favourite singles and massive tours that included support slots for Van Halen, Robert Plant and Bryan Adams. Music Feeds caught up with Baby Animals on the day of This Is Not The End‘s release, where we had a bit of a chat and they had a good old time playing some tunes.

Tickets to the Feed The Birds tour are on sale now, and the live DVD can also be preordered right now along with optional ticket bundles.
