Ben Folds Five Announce First Live Album Dropping June

The iconic pop outfit Ben Folds Five have announced they will be entering uncharted waters this Friday, 7th June. For on that day, the band will be releasing their first ever live album. The appropriately titled Ben Folds Five Live contains an array of the band’s anthems, all dipped in some raw live flavour.

The album was pieced together from their run of live show from 2012-2013, which were the first shows from the band in more than a decade. The shows were made all the more special by the fact the band would be peddling their new wares, The Sound Of The Life Of The Mind, the first stack of fresh goods from Ben Folds Five in 13 years. So the stars were aligned for a live album to happen.

Following the June release, Ben Folds Five will head out again on the road for the Last Summer on Earth 2013 US tour with Barenaked Ladies and Guster.
