Birds of Tokyo Australian Tour September 2011

Written by Brayden Darke on July 4, 2011

Perth four-piece Birds of Tokyo have announced an Australian Tour this September. Dubbed the Closer Tour, this will be the bands final Australian tour to close out 2011. The band will then go in to the studio this summer to record a new album. With the band working on new material, fans may be treated to some new songs at these shows!

It’s been a monster year so far for Birds of Tokyo, taking out #4 #47 #87 positions on the JJJ Hottest 100 2010 list. and an ARIA award for best rock album. I’m sure 2012 will be no different.
