Breaking: Marilyn Manson Collapses Onstage In Canada

Written by Marc Zanotti on February 7, 2013

Marilyn Manson has apparently collapsed onstage during a prematurely concluded show in Saskatoon, Canada. As reported by AntiQuiet a handful of fans at the show have taken to their twitter accounts to report on the unfolding drama.

Twitter user @ForbesToo posted that Manson suddenly collapsed onstage during the encore. Apparently, Manson had been performing for about an hour before falling to the ground and was attended to by EMT.

@BasementGalaxy tweeted that there was much confusion following Manson’s collapse. According to Begrand’s post, it appeared that Manson’s band continued to play along to a click track, unsure of what to do, until a drum tech told them to stop.

Meanwhile @HannahFranson tweeted a very succinct summary of what transpired. “Wow good way for a concert to end. Manson falls down, pukes, then gets dragged off stage. #SayNoToDrugsPeople”.

The turn of events has those in attendance speculating as to whether Manson collapsed from an unknown ailment, passed out due to overindulgence or staged the whole ordeal. Others are outright complaining about the truncated performance, with @kaaystefaniuk tweeting “a big FUCK YOU to whoever went to marilyn manson #notfair”.

More news as it comes to hand.

UPDATE: 08/02/13
New footage has emerged of the collapse. Manson’s father posts that his son has a “flu bug”.
