Chet Faker Announces National Homecoming Tour

Chet Faker is coming home to close out his touring cycle behind killer debut album Built On Glass. The Melbourne artist, real name Nick Murphy, will embark on his biggest national tour yet, playing seven headlining shows in six capital cities during February 2015.

Surprisingly, it’s Perth getting a double dose of Chet, thanks to Perth Festival. Supporting Mr Faker on tour will be fellow Melburnian producer Roland Tings, and cosmic-funk act GL.

Chet Faker toured the country in June and July, playing to sold-out crowds, in a year that has truly belonged to the unstoppable Aussie. He’s not just kicking goals at home, either, playing massive shows on tour in the US and Europe. He’s played a 6,000 capacity arena in Istanbul, sold out New York’s iconic Webster Hall and had the crowd breaking barriers during his recent performance at FYF Festival in LA.

Built On Glass has already won three ARIA Awards and is nominated for a total of nine, including Breakthrough Artist Release. Chet Faker also won at this year’s Victoria Music Awards, and is up for Album Of The Year and Music Video of the Year, behind Talk Is Cheap, in the 2014 J Awards.

Pre-sale tickets go on sale from 2PM (AEDT) Monday, 17th November through Frontier Touring. General public tickets go on sale from 9AM (local time) Thursday, 20th November. Full tour details below.
